Well, I've been trying to unload a bunch of figures...pretty much all of them are loose, but in great condition and with all their accessories. Now, as you know, uncarded figures aren't worth much, and I've tried selling them on eBay. So far, they have either not sold, or they have sold at insanely low prices (a dollar or less). And as you know, each time you post an auction and use pictures, they charge you for that. So If I'm making a dollar off a figure...or nothing at all, I'm loosing even MORE money. So what the hell do I do with these figures?? I can't sell them, and at this point, I doubt I could give them away! Every time I try and sell them, I loose more money. There's some I haven't tried selling because I KNOW they won't sell.
So far, listing/picture fees have cost me over $7, and I have only made $3 off selling, so you do the math. It's a small bit, but if this is any indication of how my other auctions might go...
This really has me depressed, what the heck do I do now?
And please, don't say "send them to me! "

Box them up and put them away for another day.

See if a local comic shop will buy them off you. We have one or two here in town that will purchase loose figures and bag them for sale in the bins.
Now granted you won't get much off them either I can bet, but atleast it is money that is going to you and not having to cover fees from eBay

Andyman, I've had them boxed for the last 5 years. These have got to go.
Megalithanod, I would do that, but we have one comicbook store, and the owner is a tool. He won't mess with anything that won't bring him a good return. And I'm pretty sure these won't.
Peeks, I've tried listing them on the BST board, but I never get any replies. The few that I have received just jerked my chain. Said they'd buy it, then I PM them over and over till they finally get back with the "sorry, something came up, and I can't buy it now, I should have said something earlier" line of crap.
It's like these are cursed. Everything I try backfires.

Depending upon the figures, there can actually be a good market for them. When I lived in Phoenix there was a place called 'Empire of Toys'
who bought up loose used figures. I actually got many items in my collection from their "used bins". They are now called 'Toy Anxiety' and have a website. Here's the link:
http://www.toyanxiety.com/
They have their phone number listed on the site.
If nothing else you may come up with some worthwhile trades. It's worth a call anyway.

So you're saying this place might buy up all of my loose figures? Now THAT is probably worth a call.

Or donate them to the local children's hospital or orphanarium. Of course, not any of the Tortured Souls figures, but kids would be happy to get most any other toy, and you would feel better afterwards (odds are you can even deduct it from your taxes)
